The Eden Riesling 2015 Museum Release
The 2015 season was quite dry. While there were good rains in early winter of 2014, conditions dried up in August, with an exceptionally dry and warm spring requiring some early watering’s to ensure the vines got off to a good start. These ideal conditions resulted in an early flowering, resulting in an excellent fruit set. Careful management of soil moisture kept canopies healthy, and a relatively mild summer resulted in ideal ripening conditions.
“Bright straw-green. Its sibling relationship with the ’19 is crystal clear – simply double the depth of the ’19 and do no more, except rush to stock up with this very complex, perfectly balanced wine. 96 points.” James Halliday.
